First Degree Reiki courses teach the basic theories of how to work with Reiki energy. The channel through which Reiki energy passes to the practitioner is widened through an initiation by the teacher, permitting the Reiki energy to be strong enough to effect healing. Students will learn hand placement positions on the recipient's body that are thought to be most conducive to the healing process.

| In the Second Degree Reiki course, a symbol for mental healing is taught, enabling students to treat even deeply ingrained problems like fears, depression, addictions, and the like. Students are instructed on how to direct Reiki energy to a certain point in time, to a specific person or place, or a specific issue. The issue can be something like an individual's particular health problem, or it can be a more abstract or general issue such as world peace. This is possible using three symbols taught at the second initiation. This skill allows the Reiki channel to be opened even wider. |
| As part of the Third Degree Reiki course or Master course, students learn a Master level attunement and receive an additional symbol. |
| The Reiki Retreat is an opportunity to experience a workshop that will challenge you to look at your goals and dreams. The theme of each Retreat is to discover what you want in life. The Reiki energy is the vehicle to make your intentions realized. Each participant is presented with a ‘Life-Write’ that consists of the following areas of life: Health, Career, Relationships, Family, Travel, and Reiki. The goal of filling it out is to create new possibilities of happiness, joy and aliveness. Our own personal experience is constantly changing. This activity will give the participant a wonderful chance to reevaluate his/her goals. Many people have found the Retreat a comforting experience to be in at a time of transition. Students are urged to reevaluate what is important in their lives. Some students have used the Reiki Retreat as a benchmark for change. |
| Each student has a chance to discover their own individual Animal Guide. Linda devotes time with each person in a private session to establish who their guide is. The students are often moved emotionally by the powerful experience they have while doing this activity. The Animal Guide creates an additional tool for reaching their dreams. Linda uses a form of past life regression in her work with each person. The sessions are often meaningful to the student in ways beyond the obvious. The Reiki Retreat is about having a breakthrough in your life. The Reiki energy is directed at healing what ever is getting in the way of reaching your highest potential. The training is about creating a step up in your life. |
| Each of the three levels of Reiki is taught during the Retreat. This is done to create a solid basis for what is to come next. Linda’s classes are easy to follow with many opportunities for group interaction. She devotes time to talking about Chakras, Killian Photography, Auras, Reflexology and other forms of energy healing. Students are given a textbook, , and also a Master Manuel. The classes are small and specialize in offering personal attention to each member. Linda has a background in counseling which aids her in reaching all of the student’s needs. |
| Being a Reiki Master is a huge privilege. The majority of the people who do the Retreat will probable not teach. They will receive an amazing surge of positive energy that they will be able to access and use for their own personal gain in regard to health and well being. |
